In Bali, a stray dog was lying motionless in the middle of the street as a car approached. The driver hit the brakes and cautiously stepped out, hoping the dog was alive. The homeless canine remained unresponsive until the person touched her paw. Although she wasn’t dead, she was close to it and barely recognizable.

Scarlett Adler decided to give the dog a second chance at life by fostering her despite her being blind and deaf. Sophie, as she was named, gradually began to relax and show her personality, playing and socializing with other dogs.

Thanks to Adler’s care, love, and nourishment, Sophie even regained some of her eyesight and was transformed into a completely different dog!
