Newt, a puppy, bears a grumpy expression on his face due to a severe scar he received from his mother when he was born. His previous owners could not afford the cost of his medical treatment, and he was consequently transferred to the New York Bully Crew shelter in Texas. However, Liesl Wildhart, the founder of Luvable Dog Rescue and Animal Sanctuary, adopted him and gave him a new home in Eugene, Oregon.
